The Sixth Annual IFIP WG 11.9 International Conference on Digital Forensics, organized by the Center for Information Security and Cryptography (CISC) of the Department of Computer Science is going to be held at the Council Chamber of the University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, 3 - 6 January 2010. The IFIP Working Group 11.9 on Digital Forensics (www.ifip119.org) is an active international community of scientists, engineers and practitioners dedicated to advancing the state of the art of research and practice in the emerging field of digital forensics. Participants from different parts of the world will attend the conference. It provides a forum for presenting original, unpublished research results and innovative ideas related to the extraction, analysis and preservation of all forms of electronic evidence. Dr KP Chow, Associate Director of CISC, is the General Chair of this meaningful event. The Conference is supported by the digital forensics professional body Information Security and Forensics Society (ISFS) of Hong Kong.
